Prepare and practice the grammar, vocabulary, language skills, topics and exam skills needed for success in the Cambridge English B1 Preliminary (PET) exam. All four exam parts will be covered.
Reading and Listening texts cover all core topics. Writing tasks include both sample and model answers, and Speaking activities are designed to improve fluency and accuracy and to help you express yourselves with confidence. Also, focus on developing the necessary grammar for the Reading and Use of English. Vocabulary input is at B1 level.
The level of this course is intermediate. B1 according to European guidelines (CEFR). In order to participate in this course, you need to at least be at the A2 level. Because of that, you will receive an invitation for an official Cambridge Placement Test after you sign up. This is a comprehensive online test and gives a good indication of your language level (with regards to reading and listening). Based on the result, we will offer specific advice.
