SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS

If you need any special arrangements we will do our best
to support you to reach your goal of earning a Cambridge English Certificate.

We have a number of ways to help people taking our exams who have special requirements such as:

  • visual difficulties
  • hearing or speaking difficulties
  • learning difficulties

What special arrangements can I ask for?

Cambridge offers a few differrent options. See below which special requirements are available.

visual difficulties:

  • enlarged question papers
  • extra time
  • special versions of listening tests

hearing or speaking difficulties:

  • headphones for a computer-based exam
  • extra time for speaking tests
  • speaking test with a dummy partner

learning difficulties (e.g. dyslexia):

  • extra time

How to apply for Special Arrangements?
Please inform us as soon as possible should you have any special requirements. Applications will need to be received 12 weeks before the examination. In order to hand in a request for special arrangements a medical statement and full payment by the registration deadline is needed. The medical statement cannot be older than 2 years.
